At work people lie more often than they think

Research done by Sophie van der Zee, Assistant Professor at Erasmus School of Economics, shows that in the workplace people lie more often than they think. People think they lie on average twice a day, but in fact, they lie twice per ten-minute conversation. The main reason to lie is “impression management”, which is trying to make a good impression.
